APPLE 2020 UPDATES TILL NOW

 

Apple, one of the most successful and rising company of the decade had launched its amazing gadgets this year as well. But the difference in this year’s launching of its product is that usually APPLE launches its products in a single event per year but this time APPLE launched its products in more than one event.

To start with, it was SEPTEMBER 15 when the first official event of APPLE held. Many people were in hope to see the much awaited next-gen iphones, but that day instead of launching iphones APPLE launched the all new Apple watch series 6, Apple watch SE, Apple iPad Air.

Apple watch or iWatch 6 came with a faster a14 bionic chip which is 20% faster than the previous un-defeated a13 bionic chip of Apple. This watch contains one more feature than the previous iWatch 5 that is the Blood Oxygen app which calculates the amount blood ion the body in almost 15 seconds. It has got Always-On retina display. These were the main updates of iWatch series 6.

Coming on to the iWatch SE. this is the smaller version of iWatch series 6 as SE is more affordable than the series 6. It has got Retina LTPO OLED display, contains Blood Oxygen app as well, water resistant, has Always-On Retina display and many more features as series 6.

Moreover, iPad Air was also launched and it got a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina Display. It came with 5 colors- Silver, Space Grey, Rose Gold, Green, and Sky Blue. It is having same a14 bionic processor. Having a good camera quality as compared to other iPad’s, it contains a 12-megapixel rear camera and 7-megapixel front camera. Having a home button on iPad Air means this iPad is also having the much demanded Touch ID.

A day later some updates for the gadgets were also released by Apple that is iOS 14 for the iphones, iPadOS 14 for the iPads, watchOS 7 for the iWatches, tvOS 14 for the Apple TVs.

The next major update for the products of apple was on 13 October. When the event went live, Apple launched HomePod mini, iphone 12 mini, iphone 12, iphone 12 pro, iphone 12 pro max.

HomePod mini is basically a helpful product for the users of Apple as it is made in a 360 degree manner so that it is easy to access for people using it. Just say ‘Hey Siri’ and you can tell anything to HomePod to do such as to play a song, to get any information. It is made of acoustically transparent fabric, contains 4 micro-phone design for far-field Siri.

The much awaited iphones were launched in this event. The very emerging change in the iphones was that the iphones were now 5G means iphones were now very much faster for the usage of hi-speed internet and it was easy for people to use 5G phones as it would become more faster.

The iphone mini was a small and handy iphone having 5.4 inch Super Retina XDR Display. Claimed by apple, iphone 12 series is more scratch resistant as it contains a more tough glass so as iphone 12 mini. It contains Dolby Vision for a good quality of video recordings and amazing photos. Having 2 rear cameras of 12-megapixel each, one is (wide) of f/1.6 aperture and another is (ultra-wide) of f/2.4 aperture. Front camera is of 12-megapixels.

Coming to iphone 12, this iphone is having a same Super Retina XDR display as of iphone 12 mini. This iphone contains a larger 6.1-inch display, having a faster and smoother a14 bionic processor, this iphone is launched in 5 colors- blue, green, red, white and space grey same as 12 mini. It also comes with night mode for the camera.

Going straight towards iphone 12 pro and iphone 12 pro max, this is what apple actually calls their iphone a pro. The iphone 12 pro is having a 6.1inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. Having a oleophobic coating makes iphone safe from the scratches. The main attention of iphone 12 pro is the camera. Having 3 cameras on the rear, 12-megapixel each making it a 36-megapixel iphone having an (wide) f/1.6 aperture, (telephoto) f/2.0, (ultra-wide) f/2.4. The new thing in iphone 12 pro is that it now comes with an all new LiDAR scanner for the depth of the surroundings for the perfect photo. The iphone 12 pro max has all the same specs as of 12 pro but the only difference between these two phones is that the iphone 12 pro comes with an 6.1 inch display while the iphone 12 pro max comes with an 6.7 inch display.

 

The next major event of apple was on November 10 and the main focus of this event was on the upgrades of Apple MacBooks. This event also launched an all new Apple M1 chip which is officially designed for the MacBooks. The event launched MacBook Air, Mac mini, 13”MacBook pro.

The MacBook Air and MacBook Air Pro are having a Intel dual core i5 processor, which helps to maximize the battery life of the MacBook. The MacBooks are made ideally for the students so that students can work properly. These models come with a LED-backlit and glossy widescreen displays. MacBook Air is of 11.6 inches diagonally and MacBook Air Pro comes with 13.3 inches diagonally.  These are made up of very thin but strong aluminum case.

The Mac mini came with its fifth-generation on November 10^th. It now contains a 8-core CPU. This product from Apple is squared shaped and is 1.4-inch thick and 7.7-inch wide and is made up of aluminum. The M1 Mac mini is available in Silver while the Intel Mac mini is available in Space Grey, supports an full 6K resolution.

 

The very next product launched after the event of November 10 was Airpods Max. These Airpods are Apple’s first over-head headphones. These Airpods were launched without holding an event. These Airpods come with a variety of colors- Silver, Space Gray, Sky Blue, Pink and Green. These headphones are to be kept in a case named as smart case by Apple. These offer a 20-hour battery life and can be charged by Apple’s lightning cable. It has Apple’s H1 headphone chip in each ear cup. These Airpods contains special features such as active noise cancellation, transparency mode, spatial audio, having 8 microphones for Active Noise Cancellation.
